I think something exploded

So, we're having some fun thunderstorms here and lightning and all that fun stuff and something just exploded. I don't know what, but there was a flash of lightning, an explosion, and thunder all at the same time.

However my power hasn't gone out again so that's good.

Whatever it was though, it was really nearby my house, and didn't sound like a tree being hit...though I don't think it was a powerline because the electricity would be off.

Scary.

Uh oh, flickery lights. Hmmmm....stupid storms.

I think it was Thunder...
Me and a few friends were sitting in a car before waiting for our other friends, when lightning hit less then a meter from the car, after that came a huge sonic boom (the thunder). scared the living daylights out of everyone, considering there were more girls then boys.

I just got back from shooting a huge overhang that blew off these peoples house. I interviewed the dad and he said, "I thought I was Dorothy in Wizard Of OZ, I thought I was going to be blown away. Then I shot them pulling a 4x4 truck onto it so it would blow away, meanwhile there was lightening all around us and I started getting soaked with rain. Then my car started sliding all over the place on my way back, but I managed to control it. Then I saw a huge explosion near the Sahara Casino amongst the bright lights on The Strip. It was awesome!!! eek!
