but i hope they never do any of these huge universe wide crossovers in the ultimate U
i like the imprints like UFF vs Xmen or Ultimate Six or whatever, but the books do so much better when they arent all trying to tell the same story..... not to mention how much these crossover things ruin continuity for the sake of shock or sales (or artistic expression, which is good imho)
Whilst I usually would agree with you on that, the ultimates is the best ultimate title out there IMO and it is affecting Ultimate spidey, FF and X-men
ya, but the "invaders" arc is only being covered in the Ultimates book, its not affecting the UFF Xmen or spiderman books, just sorta including them in the story
I think if Civil War happened in the Ultimate series, it would end up having greater consequences. We all know that somehow Peter isn't going to stay public - they'll retcon it in some way, most likely with Scarlet Witch at some point, just so people stop complaining lol. In the Ultimate comics, people are more likely to be killed off and whatnot, so the Civil War would be cooler I think, when you know that someone might not pop up again.
I think he will stay public. People said he wouldn't stay married, but how long has he and MJ been together? Complaints don't matter, what matters is selling books. People may be complaining, but they're buying the books while they make their complaints. As a matter of fact, the book sales are at a high.
Hell, people said that the Xavier Institute wouldn't stay public, but I have yet to see Charles mind wipe the planet.

My thoughts exactly plus it wouldnt have that much impact since pretty much veryone know that Peter is Spider-man and it wouldnt have the same impact since its a pretty new universe and friendships aint established as deeply as 616.
