One thing I never understood
If Post Crisis Superman has been equal to Orion in brute strength most of his career, and Orion was equal to Pre-Crisis Superman in the Pre-Crisis era
how is it that
Pre Crisis Superman > Post Crisis Superman
in terms of brute strength.

yes becuase the 4 world wasnt affected by the COIE so both apokolips and new gen should be bossing at pre crsis levels....but one thing that seems to be quiiietly retconned from continuity is the fact that earth is actually the insignificant in size compared to spheres from the 4 th world. in fact it has been explained that the boom tube energies actually reduce or increase a person's size accordinagly depending on which dimension they are in...cuz ppl of the 4th are actually about 300-400 feet tall...this was shown when supergirl(the angel one) went to apokolips via a means other than boom tube and she was the size of a rodent compared to them...so if darksied was smart enuff to not use boom tubes he could show up on earth and whoop everybody's ass
