In the Hindu faith, which preachs a single Supreme Personality (god), Durga is one of the three Goddesses who are part of this Supreme Personality (Krishna, Vishnu is what yiou could call him). She is the Destroyer of Evil within our hearts. She clears the evil thoughts of Samsara.
