Maestro wasn't really more durable or stronger than Hulk. He was just insane, which made him more dangerous.

Plus he has WAY more fighting experience than Hulk. He knew his every move, although that could've been hyperbole.

They said that Maestro got stronger then regular Hulk by bombardments of Gamma radiation to make himself stronger but that might be only his base level strength. Maestro has tons of experience from the battles the Hulk had over the years.

yeah i was under the same impression, that Maestro was stronger then Hulk due to all of the radiation he absorbed over the years

Stormbreaker turned me into a BRB fan.
I'm still disappointed he doesn't appear in Annihilation.

First of all, yes, Maestro was waaay more powerful and durable than ANY other incarnation of Hulk at thier base level.
That being said, BRB wins this.
Something people overlook, is the fact that BRB beat Thor BEFORE he ever even got the hammer, ad all the upgrades and abilities that came with it.
As a matter of fact, he beat Thor EASILY, in just a handful of panels, with no plot device, tricks or anything cheap.
That is why Mjolnir allowed Bill to pick it up.
I say Bill wins.

According to Peter David, Maestro's mindset was what made him more dangerous than most Hulks.

but just like Hulk, Maestro's strength increases with his rage plus he is very battle hardened

He didn't beat Thor easily. Far from it. Their second fight ended in a double KO, which Bill woke up first due to the heat of the environment they fought in.

Yes, it's mindset. Having years of fighting experience helps as well.

It would make sense for him to be stronger as well, though. I mean, the Hulk DOES keep absorbing radiation.
