It really all depends actually. How powerful is Hellion's telekinesis? I mean, if it's powerful enough, all of Sunspot's power will mean nothing (and Sunspot is one of my favorite characters, too).
So really, it just depends. Sunspot is VERY powerful, but I haven't seen a comparison of the two to be able to accurately judge this.

The only way i see Hellion being able to fight someone like Sunspot is to block the sun from Bobby during their battle. Bobby's power lasts about 45 min. without added sun.
The split nessary from Hellion would prob. cost him to much power cause i think that Bobby's strength is capable of near what Rogues used to be when she had Ms. Marvels. That's like a 60 ton max. anyhow.
No true. Bobby can retain his powers for several hours depending on how much sun he absorbed previously, since he constantly stores it. And since it's in his character to spend much of his time outside (which he does do, the sun and all), he would have plenty of energy to utilize even without the sun.
You are correct about his powerset, however. While transformed, Bobby's pretty much the equivalent of Ms. Marvel-Rogue in all aspects.
I think that Sunspot wins this match because Hellion doesn't appear to have telekinesis powerful enough to stop him.
There's also the chance that Sunspot could speed blitz him. He has super-speed when transformed, pretty much equivalent to Ms. Marvel-Rogue's speed, which was super-sonic when she pushed it. I severely doubt, mostly because of lack of experience and basically his normal human reaction speed, that Hellion could react in time to either avoid or counter that.
There's also the chance Helion can TK shield himself and then make sunspot's head blowup......................Sunspot's gonna get wipped up most of the time but not all of it.
While impressive (and believe me, it is), it seems that Hellion, even with him being pressed for going as hard and fast as possible, couldn't have done any of that without Emma's assistance.
After seeing that, however, I'm not quite sure who would win.
Before this issue the Nimrod arc I thought sucked horribly. I wonder if Hellions unlocked powers are going to be permanent, I hope it is, he would be like a Nate Grey Jr.
