other than that, badguys win every single time.

Well yeah... Thanos and darksied alone would be causing major issues for the good guys..
Doom and magneto is nearly overkill already
and the rest.. well yeah.. that's overkill....
any prep scenarios where doo can prep pretty much automatically goes to the bad guys...
and a chance encounter; I just don't think the good guys have what it takes to be victorious here.
