Okay let me give this poetry stuff a try. I figured I might as well see what I can do since I don't feel like writing a story for some time I figured why not a poem?

You Are Not Alone
Alone again on a Saturday night
Looking upon these four walls again
It’s such a familiar but dull sight
Staying here in this dreaded den

I long for freedom from this prison
A day I would finally be free
Hoping one day to finally be risen
And go out into the world and alas see

When all hope fades I hear a voice
Telling me to stand and rejoice
That I finally got the choice

And it says

You are not alone, we all stand as one
Just look out across the entire nation
You will see the glimmer of hope
And the sparkle of salvation
You are not alone

I walk the streets all alone
People passing me by without a care
But for some reason I must have known
To keep them all in my prayers

I try to fit into the crowds
But they push me away and leave
It seems I am more like a shroud
But I will not sit back and grieve

For I hear that soothing whisper
And I know that I would miss her
But it was bound to occur

And it says

You are not alone, we all stand as one
Just look out across the entire nation
You will see the glimmer of hope
And the sparkle of salvation
You are not alone

Every day before I leave I mourn
And all I seem to do is scorn
But now I removed that horn
And I was finally reborn

And I hear that voice of hope
Telling me it’s a slippery slope
But there is never a need to mope

And it says

You are not alone, we all stand as one
Just look out across the entire nation
You will see the glimmer of hope
And the sparkle of salvation
