What if Superman and The Silver Surfer's powers were switched?
OK so what if the Amalgam Brothers decided to forge a new link between them and just switched Kal and Norrin's power sets.
They both stay in there respective universe as the same people but their powers are just swapped with no apparent reason. Norrin happens to be on Earth when he gains the new power set at normal Superman levels. And Kal-El is just having another regular day as the man of steel in Metropolis.
So Norrin has Reed or whom ever he wishes to ask to help him learn to understand his new change. While Superman has his normal friends and team of scientist to do the same in the DCU.
How would their lives and the universes of DC and Marvel change due to this?

Norrin would probably be ecstatic at first, no longer being bound to Galactus's will yet having power none-the-less. T'would be humorous to watch him attempt to fly without standing. However I believe it'd start eroding at Surfer how he is no longer in tune with the cosmos.
Kal on the other-hand would be confused but then delighted, his powers now pretty much have an on/off switch. With extra GL style powers thrown in.
Re: What if Superman and The Silver Surfer's powers were switched?
Norrin uses his new powers to fly around Earth, eating as many burgers as he can per second. He then discovers a dead woman in a car and attempts to fly around the Earth, really fast, reversing is rotation and hopefully reversing time. He ends up destroying all life on Earth.
Meanwhile Superman, uses his new found powers to time travel for he benefit of mankind. He goes back in time and kills Eminem before he writes any songs. He travels back and advises his younger self to stop being such a lame farmboy and get a more badass attitude. He goes back and high fives Jesus, just cos he can.
Oh and he eats the back of Batman's head, for tax reasons.
Superman would wonder if SBP punched a wall somewhere and returned his Superman blue powers.
Surfer would probably delight in flight without his board, and true superspeed. Then he would probably exploit his new powerset to the fullest.
