Too Massive D.C. annoucements !

The guy who wrote the last few issues of Firestorm looks like he's going to be taking over the J.L.A., with a new line up. Sounds ok to me, although I would have preferred Dini, Waid or Morisson.

http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=116926

I hope Firestorm gets on the Team.

This on the other hand made my nickers go all funny. Absolutely CAN'T wait to start buying the Flash again. And its looks like its either going to be Wally or Barry, again !!!!!!!! big grin

Good.

Flash Sucked, they had such potential with Inertia and they let it all go to waste with a cheap bargain bin villain plot.

McDuffie is absolutely the best choice. Neither Waid's or Morrison's run was overly special but Duffie's JLU was the best animated superhero related TV show ever, throw live action in there cause Smallville definitely can't match the quality of it.

His run on FF4 so far has proven he can handle team's very effectively too. Glad to see Benes will still be on art.

Sorry my mistake .... mann that took a long time to verify. It didn't mention on his Wiki page any of his marvel stuff, like Beyond and FF4 e.t.c.

No?

I'd place JLU Season 4 or 5 well beyond either of their entire runs and classify it as special.

Morrison's JLA was probably one of the weaker works he's ever done in his career imo.

Interesting in that there was only 2 seasons of JLU.

And Morrisons JLA run, was probably the best of the entire previous JLA series, and is certainly not a low point in his collection. A beautifully crafted 50-some odd issue storyarc.

J'onns going to be on the Outsiders, can't see him being on both teams.

Batman and Nightwing should trade teams if the JLA and Outsiders are going to be getting new line-ups, but they won't do it since Nightwing is already confirmed for the new Outsiders line up sad

By the way didn't McDuffie come up with the cosmic arm-lock? Wonder if we'll be seeing Batman physically overpower Supes?!

Indeed he does.

What's going to happen to Kyle Rayner - Van Sciver said that the future of Kyle and the Ion persona will be answered in "Sinestro Corps" #1.

.....

There was some potentially bad news. Van Sciver remarked, “Kyle Rayner fans may not like us after June.”

It's like I just got stabbed. The past year and half at DC has been like a total annihilation of the 90's.
