I heard Viewtiful Joe was very fast. Sora could probably match his speed in his Final Form or utilize his ability to teleport in battle, which would help out a lot. Sora's Stopga spell would also come in handy.

yeh, Ryu/Kyo's rivalry is a mere friendly one, (and in the SvC: Chaos manga, they team up at the end. But I don't think those things are canon...) They'll clear this, if they work as a team. And if Kyo stops thinking he can do it alone....

I agree. It's not like Kyo and Ryu are trying to kill each other. Their rivalry could be the same as Ryu & Ken. Definitely not Kyo & Iori style.
The 2 of them would make a formidable team.
