Chess Match

Brains & tactics, that's whats needed to win a game of chess.

If the following were to play in a tournament against each other who would win?

No psychic powers allowed.

8 match ups in round 1.

A) Lex Luthor vs Tony Stark
B) Reed Richards vs Charles Xavier

C) Dr Strange vs T.O. Morrow
D) Captain America vs Bruce Banner

E) Dr Doom vs Mr Terrific
F) Beast vs Oracle

G) Peter Parker vs Batman
H) Nick Fury vs Black Panther

Round 2. Winner of A plays winner of B, winner of C plays D, E plays F.
G plays H.

Round 3. Winner of group 1 plays winner of group 2, winner of group 3
vs winner of group 4

Final: Winner vs Winner

Remember no powers here, just brains and tactics. Who wins?

Okay so this doen't seem to have grabbed the collective interest but here's how I see it anyway.

Round 2 matches would be:

1. Lex Luthor vs Reed Richards

2. Dr Strange vs Captain America

3. Dr Doom vs Oracle

4. Batman vs Nick Fury

Semi-Final

1. Reed Richards vs Captain America

2. Dr Doom vs Batman

Final

Reed Richards vs Batman

Winner

Batman! cool

Hmmm toughie... T.O. Morrow's feats were chiefly using his ability to see into the future though, so I'm going to go with Dr. Strange
