Job, Body Guard of Shao Khan.
Respect Kintaro, or he jump on you. Goro may have been bad. But Kintaro was Badder. When we all play MKII, we all "Hope" to beat him. Only to have a few movements later of him kicking our butts all over the arena. The crowd sure loved it. They always cheer for him. You got no cheers from the crowd, because you were never as cool as Kintaro.

Geese Howard must had written a book on how to grab and slam opponents from the air. Kintaro has taken those lesson to heart, given his bad habit on blocking aerial attacks and slamming you to the ground.
To beat him, you have to use some sick combos...as well as avoiding the dreaded Teleport Stomp.
How to beat Kintaro:
Liu Kang: Dropkick into either Air Dragon Flare. If he is in the corner, then uppercut him. You can either use the Concorde Flying Kick or Bicycle Kick. When 'Taro's in the corner, use the Dropkick-Air Flare, then uppercut.
Kung Lao: Dropkick into Hat Toss. If in the corner, Dropkick into Whirlwind Spin. Kintaro might grab and slam you, so be careful.
Johnny Cage: Dropkick into Shadow Kick or Shadow Uppercut. Green Flares are too slow.
Reptile: Dropkick into Slide or Acid Spit. I prefer the Slide
Subzero: Dropkick into Slide.
Shang Tsung: dropkick into Flaming Skulls, but it's too risky. Morph into Kitana and let loose on him.
Kitana: Here is where you can get nasty. Dropkick into the Fan Lift, then do another dropkick into a Air Fan Throw. When he is in the corner, perform same combo and finish with an uppercut.
Jax: Dropkick into the Gotcha Grab. Rinse and repeat.
Milleena: Dropkick into Air Sai Throw. Force him into the corner to add an uppercut.
Baraka: Dropkick into the Blade Spark. Dropkick into the Shredder in the corner.
Scorpion: Dropkick. If it connects, Spear, then Uppercut
Raiden: Dropkick into Air Superman.

As Raiden more often than not, when I do the Superman follow by the drop kick, Kintaro would thown me. He may fall for it once or 2 times in round 1. But whats the Al knows whats happing, it might not work.

I only combo when the dropkick connects.

The tiger Shokan prepares for and confronts the fallen Shokan prince, Goro. The 2 have a temporary fight, and later form a truce. Always wondered what it would be like to see them fight, but not quite what I was expecting.
Unsurprisingly, Kintaro easily owns Jax and Kano. He makes Jax's broken arms even more broken, which apparently, is why he ended up having his arms replaced with metal ones.

I guess "Scourge of Outworld" really is a fitting name for the tiger Shokan.
