Should silver surfer be grouped together with other top tiers?

Silver surfer is considerably more powerful than most top tiers. He has more powers than multiple top tiers combined. Howver his passive nature and disposition sort of acts as a check to his numerous powers. What im asking is if SS really decided to let go and start using his powers ruthlessly and without remorse, Would we still put him in the same class with other top tiers like superman and thor?

Maybe .... but by the same token Thor may have even more powers than The Surfer ... if he was to "let go and start using his powers ruthlessly and without remorse" then I'd put him above Surfer.

I don't think Thor has the versatility Surfer has. But because he wields Mjolnir (specifically, the Godblast), he may rank higher in overall, sheer brute force. Maybe.

But to address the thread question, I would say, no.

No really.

Thor with magic, just like surfer with the power cosmic can achieve pretty much whatever they want.

SS is already a tier or two above Superman, doing this will put him away above Supes.

SS is already a tier or two above Superman, doing this will put him away above Supes. Imo he is already closer to Monarch's class than Superman's

Just because he is more versatile than most top-tiers doesn't mean he should be above them.

if thor, superman, hal jordan and the rest of the top tiers started all being completely ruthless, they'd still end up on the same tier as norrin, t'would balance out imo....

Nope. Same tier is as good as he'll get.

Surfer's versatility is impressive, but there are plenty in that tier that are just as powerful and versatile.

There are guys as powerful and guys as versatile but there aren't all that many on the same tier that can match him in both departments.

Like Thor, for instance.

wink

Closing. Take this to the tiers thread if you consider it a legit proposal.
