The Star wars OT (2004)
Saw this in a shop for £18 (used) Great packaging and dvds . I like the covers too not like the 06 versions .
I have the Limited 06 versions but they are too cartoony and they have no X wings on ANH I should have brought this box set. damn
Anyway am looking farward to a better box set when it comes out on Blu ray .

I know. But at least there's always the surprise with the next release what's new in the movie.

I wonder if GL ever made high res scans of the original footage before it got messed up.

THe final OT release on VHS was very good. Digitally remastered both in video and audio. It should be around somewhere, a lot better than the only OT DVD release.

Apparently things have come this far: we are happy when there is no OT release... Sad.

Maybe after Lucas dies we have a chance of getting it.

The '06' reissue cover art with the originals blow those away . . . .
