That was not the 616 Thor it is one of the mini serires they have out.

And by hte way Odin owned him.

Surtar killed him he made a sword called the twlight sword the gave him a aber power up Odin absord all of the asguardians to power himself up big galaxy busting attacks they killed each other.

Odin is current is a void with Surtar had fighting everyday and then dieign again to Keep him from returning but they did hint to him coming back at somepoint of course.

not ragnarok. Thor took Odin place and power odinforce and long story short him become more powerful then Odin did lots of bad/stupid things killed of all of earths heros and then realised he was wroung and reversed time caused Raganrok.

Now Thor came back from the void to help earth brought back asguard and his peoples and enemies and thats were we stand.
