Favorite Characters Rogues Character Flaws

What are the flaws that allow your favorite characters rogues to be beat by either your favorite character or other hero's.

For example Spiderman's rogues most at least seem to suffer from lack of intelligences or insanity or both which effect there abilities to fully uses there versatility.

Another example if Wolverine rogues most of which suffer from not taking there opponets seriously and treating the fight as a game or sometimes to hand cap them selfs to challenge them.

Now on the other thing which of your favorite characters get beat or have hard times will villains they should not, based on flaws within there character.

For example Flashes flaw of predictability and not using his abilities to there fullest.

Another example is that of Sentry who insanity caused him to hold back or not uses his versatility to his fullest

Not sure that equals a trend, especially given Flash's thousands of showings. And also because you just named two of the best tacticians in all of comics. I'm sure a lot of people would be predictable to Slade or Bruce.

I'll start with a few of Spider-Man's villains.

Green Goblin(Norman): Originally, his weakness was his ego. As long as he was winning, Norman didn't mind stopping himself from killing Spider-Man in order to gloat. Later on, it became his insanity. The Green Goblin's issue turned into the fact that he was totally unstable. Mention Harry, he would either knock himself out or try to murder you. Mention Peter Parker's winning history, he loses all of his common sense and will try his best to kill you in cold blood, but someone clever(like Spidey) could use that to his advantage.

Doctor Octopus: He pink, fleshy body which is easily hurt by Spider-Man.

Sandman, Rhino, Scorpion, Hydroman, Carnage, ect.: Their lack of intellect.

Venom(classic 80s Brock): Because of his obsession towards Spider-Man and his belief of his vast superiority over the webhead, he doesn't understand the weaknesses of the suit, and he doesn't even try to.

Kraven the Hunter: His pride.

The Jackal: His obsession.
