Very solid movie, but to me it was hardily a horror film. If it is a horror movie, then the Sixth Sense was a horror movie. But yeah, I'd say give it a chance. The story is pretty cool.

Yes, see it. It's wonderful supernatural horror film. It's now in my all time favourite films actually. Don't know about the above guys, but the film made me cry.

Remake newsquote: Back in August it was revealed that Larry Fessenden would be helming a remake of for New Line Cinema and Guillermo del Toro. It is no more. "THE ORPHANAGE was two years of waiting," Fessenden said. "Working on the script with Guillermo was a very exciting experience, but then I got into a casting miasma and that's where the thing is; I think they're gonna do it another way, actually. So I think I'm out of it. Hopefully they'll still use my script, but I'm not sure I'm directing it anymore. That's Hollywood for ya."

To be honest,I didn't see the big deal about this movie,At times I even found it quite boring
