Spawn use to be a pretty cool comic way back when, and he became pretty powerful at one point. So, using Spawn is at his most powerfu who would win in a fight>
Is using Spawn at his most powerful makes it to one-sided for him, make it Pre-crisis Darkseid.

He can look backwards in time and figure it out. As shown by his knowing what Validus was despite it being done by a future version of himself.
I concede that it was a longshot, but I did say it was his best chance.
It is a longshot, but how character have the power that such a path is even open to them?
