The Torch: Better than I thought!
Woohoo! Did not know what to expect. I saw the name of Alex Ross & took a chance based on his love of golden age characters. The cover is stunning. I must get the poster of this cover. This issue was packed with so much goodness. The golden age vision was there, so was Toro, The Thinker, Horton, and the original torch.
The thinker's interaction with his lackey was amusing.   I also loved the golden age vision. I also like how this story has a connection to the story in Marvel Projects book.
I really love those Marvel golden age characters. I hope we see more of them, esp. the golden age vision!
Really looking forward to the next issue.
