Eh, what can I say? Code Geass is very self contained as it is. The series pretty much ended on the highest note you can get for a series like this so I'm not ecstatic about seeing something random. I mean, it'll be cool to see the EU finally be addressed and we can get glimpses of the war with Schneizel and all I assume. Maybe see the impact Zero has had on the rest of the world and see some new Geass and mech stuff. But at it's core, we're not following the same characters, so it's really just a spin off. Like Halloween 3 I suppose. Oh and I'm getting my info from here so I'm just going based on what I see.
Now, what would have been better in my opinion was if R2 hadn't ended so quickly and basically tied the knot on itself. It would have been fun to see Zero's effect on the EU during the actual series. Granted, that runs the risk of losing momentum.
Are we talking about the same Ohgi? Because the Ohgi I know isn't just fairly dumb. He is borderline ****ing retarded. Hell, whenever he is in command, it's pretty obvious shit can't get done, so why Zero put him as second in command is beyond me.
My annoyance with him comes from when they [SPOILER - highlight to read]: betrayed Zero. For two reasons:
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: 1. They don't know what a Geass is. Schneizel could have made up any word, or hell, he could use a foreign word for masturbate, shit, cum, whatever the hell and the Black Knights wouldn't know the difference. This guy, YOUR ENEMY, comes to you claiming your boss is controlling you with something you just heard about? Bull-fvcking-shit. Are you kidding me? Oh, it's okay though. He has a recording of Zero saying mean things. It's not like those can be faked or anything. You can't just get a voice actor to impersonate Zero or anything. No! That would be ridiculous! I mean, this is OUR ENEMY! Of course he can be trusted guys! Oh, he killed people huh? I suppose no one remembers that the people he killed were practicing supernatural shit and were loyal to Britannia.
2. Ohgi, being the stupid shit that he is, completely buys it because Villeta says so. Because when it comes down to it, the guy who brought you victory after victory, helped create a nation to save your home, and basically trusted you with as much info as you needed, doesn't hold a candle to the b!tch THAT SHOT YOU. Clearly her word is vastly better than his in every way.
I hate Ohgi so much. He is shit.

But, she likely has issues has her excuse. She was working on a nuke while in high school. Clearly not a healthy kid.
I never did like Ohgi, but after reading this, I'm with you, unless of course, you left out something.
