I'm surprised by all the Apocalypse backing. Zod is after all a Kryptonian or equivalent. The Russian one broke Superman's arm.

Apoc has a large speed disadvantage per feats against most DC characters, but I give him 50/50 odds against Kryptonians based on tactics. If he goes the shield/life force drain route, his odds increase, but he'd have to be able to raise shields before they're on top of him. Physical combat wouldn't be in his favor because he hasn't shown the speed to be able to keep up and would get brutalized, though he could conceivable morph part of his body into a warp drive.
