Bruce Wayne versus Simon Phoenix
Same storyline as "Demolition Man", except that Batman is in place of John Spartan.
Batman tries to apprehend Phoenix, the building blows, Simon makes it look like Batman killed the bus passengers. Simon is placed in cryo, just as in the movie.
Batman is arrested, his identity is revealed, and he is sentenced to cryo freeze, just like Spartan was. Bruce resigns himself to his fate and is frozen.
Simon "escapes" cryo and goes on the rampage in San Angeles. The SAPD decides to thaw out Bruce so that he might apprehend Simon. He is given the rank of detective in the SAPD and accepts the job.
Wayne has the support of the same people that Spartan did. He is Bruce Wayne here, Batman is long gone. Simon has the support of the same people he had onscreen.
Can Bruce track down Phoenix, engage him, and kill him? In this scenario, Bruce will kill and he will use guns.
Let's add scenario two: Bruce has the Batsuit and all his gadgets, he is still Batman, he will not kill, he will try and apprehend Phoenix.
