How would James Bond 007 fit in a Comic Universe?

(please log in to view the image)
How would James Bond fare in either the DC or Marvel Universe? Would he be a push-over or major player of some kind? Could he be above or below The Punisher, Fury, Black Widow, etc? High, mid, or low-level street? Would writers make him able to do regular feats that people like the above three regularly perform? What kind of gadgets do you think he'd regularly employ? It doesn't have to be the current timelines for either universe either.

Would he directly get involved with superheroes? How do you think he'd be portrayed? Would he keep his usual villains and how would they fit in either universe? Which actor do you envision as Bond in these universes?

On the Marvel ratings scale(1-7), where would Bond rank in the Intelligence and Fighting Skill department? Base this in accordingly to his 22 official films and where IYO he should be.

I could see him as a peer to Nick Fury or Captain Rick Flag in fighting skills and intelligence.

He'd be Nick Fury's British counterpart.

In DC I could see him being some kind of Anti-Villain Homme Fatale for the Birds of Prey.

Bond would have a hard time in comics. They all need crises and inner turmoil and failure. Eventually he would become too human, and would lose his mystique. Either that or he'd become an in-joke, always PIS'ing his way to victory and bagging women. Either way, it would diminish the character.

He'd be a government sanctioned version of the Punisher. And take orders from Nick Fury.
