I find Rich more creative in the use of the nova force and Saal packs more power say in projectile blast, all round strength, etc.. etc..

Rich has more skill with using the gravimetric power, but Saal is a master with the syphon power which imo, trumps the gravimetric power in combat. Every time they've fought, Saal has drained him easily.
