OK so imagine this. What if Annihilus, succeeded in concurring a very large part of the universe, and decided to set his sights on Earth. After killing or imprisoning all of Earths heaviest hitters, he decides to make Earth the nerve center of his operations. The only thing left to stop him are a small band of rag tag Heroes led by Captain America. The team is comprised of Captain America, Spider Man, Wolverine, Iron Fist, Black Widow, Daredevil, and Tony Stark. Tony has very limited resources, and was only able to save his original mark 1 armor. Can this team take back the Earth. The world is infested with Annihilus' soldier bugs that use humans for food.
The Earth resembles the world from the Matrix movies, with small pockets of under ground resistance fighters.
CIS is off, would the Heroes be able to turn the tide, and rid the world of this infestation?

The heroes would win. The solider bugs are canon fodder, and this team would be able to move stealthily, to the center of the "hive" and hit them where they hurt. Much like Neo, they might not come out of it alive, but odds are, they can still take this.
