He's an assassin that can basically rewind time and correct his mistakes, so if someone kills him, they only kill one of his past selves. He can do this a lot. He's also quite fast and skilled.

He's basically Midnighter on crack.

If he can mess with time, then how do these two beat him?

Only himself, nothing like a true time manipulator like waverider or anything. He has been caught off guard before.

Think a fight with him and Mr. X would be almost never ending. X would know what he does and centi would change it then X woudl change his reaction then back and forth back and forth. I mean does it take effort to use centi's powers or is it just unlimited. Also how far back can he go?

You said he can be suprised,

TaskMaster kills him, centipede rests himself some where

X tells him what centipedes power is

TaskMaster begins to see the pattern throws a knife, Centis feasts, bullseye haxx powers bounce the knife of the wall into an instant kill spot....

Or TaskMaster just shoots him at point blank at double speed...

Yeah, when he wasn't paying attention or underestimating his opponent. Or when the main character dials a new power. But he won't be for this fight.

So the only way to beat him is for him to be caught off guard while/or by underestimating his opponent.. But he isn't doing either Sooo he can't lose then?

You made this thread so you must of thought the team had a chance so perhaps you can share some theory as to how they might be able to overcome the mighty centipede?

Double teaming him could work, if they find the right one to kill. The man can take punishment as well and is quite fast, but we don't know how fast. I think the 2 can do it, if they work together, but not one on one. For a majority? Not sure. I was hoping people read Dial H, but I guess not. :/

Dial H seemed interesting but I never made room on my pull list. I might after seeing what you have had to say on this character. Seems reall interesting so far. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I feel like even if he keep son resetting there a double team will make some maneuvers impossible for him to doge or block both effectively and constantly. I mean he doesn't have like super speed does he? Cuz that would be so hax lol

Between Mr.X's reading his moves and lashing out with deadly accuracy and Taskmaster switching between the deadlier skill sets he has in his bag -o-tricks I think they would nail him.

Question.. If he goes back in time and does over whatever he needs to not to be hurt wouldn't mr.x still pick up on the thoughts needed to execute centipedes next move? As in cutting off centipede from any move that wouldn't put him in some level of danger or would he have moments of being a blank slate where X can't read him? Not sure how the powers will clash.

Taskmaster has gathered enough skills to make a difference.

Read the latest arc. It's actually pretty good. Centipede is definitely a cool character.
