Coldcast vs Mags is an interesting fight with two of the best energy-manipulators around throwing all types of EM at each other. However, if Mags wasn't checked by Coldcast, he could probably shut down Vera's systems.

Menagerie's a solid 'iron man but biological' level character. This'd make her pretty great against Mags.

Nate vs Chester should mentally stalemate each other for awhile.

Vera can really beat anyone/everyone on the other team except for Mags and Nate. She could handle Storm and Cycs at once.


Hat's got stronger magic than Magik, but Magik's got the sword, so he's probably better off hiding behind Menagerie and Vera.


Ideally, the Elite wants Coldcast and Menagerie hitting Magneto, the psychics going head to head, and Vera blasting everyone else with the Hat in support.

Worst-case, Mags hits Vera, Magik manages to take Hat out with the soul sword, and things go downhill fast.
