To be fair, Mr. X getting tagged doesn't mean he was out.
Remender also went a little overboard on the Mr. X bashing, having him lose three separate fights.. had Cage trash him. And he got double teamed on top of it, and laid out in a body cast.

It is his primary tactic ever since Remender turned him into a genjutsu user. He'd probably try it 8 out of ten times in forum fights.
He wasn't actually KO'd or anything, but it was embarrassing. I'd argue bad writing though, since nothing Danny did should have blocked the impulse reading.
It isn't pre-cog, but he overcame the weakness later anyway. Wolverine, after getting kicked around, essentially forfeited to him.
Regardless, X hasn't gotten much love lately. Fantomex is a real problem though. Don't see anyone on team 2 beating him, unless X surprises us.
If you can't deal with the illusion + attack combo, Fantomex is going to beat you.
