And a Surfer was more powerful than a Galactus on panel. Still doesn't put him above 616.

King Hyperion showed nothing to indicate he could take a 616 Galactus at any level ever. So it becomes a non feat when you can't make sense of it.

That being said. King Hyperion's best feat of taking on two Hyperions and not winning was surpassed when Surfer beat a being siphoning Gladiator's power (who snapped the neck of the stronger Hyperion KH fought) along with his own power and a couple other unquantifiable beings and the Unipower all in one.
We do not want to get into Surfer's better showings either nor do we have to. KH was seriously hurt from a half light speed attack albeit a cheap shot when Surfer can accelerate full light speed in meters. Sand inside KH messed him up badly when Surfer black holing is nigh a meme.

Then there's recent KH showings of losing to Blue Marvel and losing to the Thunderbolts which was an unimpressive team. Key note here is Man Thing's touch messed him up badly when Surfer took on a dramatically amped in every way 'Man Thing' and won.

Leaving out some other things but anyway Surfer rolls King Hyperion.

That was off panel, and as we all know any other character from an alternate universe is more than likely inferior to their 616 counter part. The 616 is essentially the end all be all. King Hyperion murdered the Galactus, Thanos, Sentry, Thor, Blue Marvel, Hulk etc. in his universe. The fact that he did this yet lost in a mirror match against two other Hyperions and got wrecked by the Blue Marvel in the 616 should be further confirmation of how weak the characters in his alternate universe was. I have a theory that any high herald in the 616 could have replicated if not surpass all of King Hyperions feats with ease.

Pretty much. Hell, an argument can be made that those Hyperions he fought could have accomplished the same things individually.
