Cade Skywalker vs. Jaina Solo

Who wins?

These things and more."

Dark Transfer>

Cade also has most of the things that puts Jaina above the rest, imo.

Jaina fared a lot better against Caedus than Cade did Krayt, though.

Did she? Jaina vs. Caedus was a perfect storm of the battlefield favoring Jaina. Cade vs. so Krayt wasn't nearly so battlefield friendly in favor of Cade.

Caedus could have easily killed her, he was too busy trying to save his daughter. It's not like he was actually trying to kill her.

Though if he had, it'd still have just a mutual kill and not a win. She was matching him blow for blow in sabers.

He was still crippled, though, no matter how angry he was.

He had the power to ignore pain entirely. He was fighting one-handed but that was about the only thing actually disadvantaging him.

Even without pain, injuries debilitate and hamper you significantly.

Cade's best power requires contact. If he can touch Jaina, he'll win. But how is he going to touch someone who outclasses him as a duelist?

Depends on the injury. An injured off arm won't negatively affect most of him.

Being stabbed and arm-less is a significant disadvantage, Q.

If you have powers that prevent shock and the effects of pain completely, being arm-less is not particularly different than just fighting with one arm, a mode of fighting many do on purpose.

The difference is a lot of people who fight one-handed are ambidextrous and switch from one hand to the other to parry certain attacks/make certain attacks. He had to fight with a significant defensive AND offensive disadvantage, regardless of whether or not pain affected him.

Jaina still wins here though stick out tongue

The trick is, Cade has to touch Jaina to win, and she's picky about guys not named Fel touching her. As Jaina wins saberwise...the question remains just how Cade's going to lay a hand on her.
