Well, here, I am absolutely serious.
Meta Cooler was fast enough to contend with SSJ1 level of speed.
Wolverine is well below that degree of superhuman speed. On page, we have statements from him and Thor himself that Logan is faster. Also stated by the writer, Frank Tieri in the interview and by Marvel's Executive Editor and Senior Vice President of Publishing, Tom Brevoort via formspring.
That's not even bringing up Thor's other fights with fast and nimble opponents, such as Daredevil, Spider-Man, Captain America, Moongoose, Kobra and many others.
And you know well how poorly those guys would fare in the original DB series, let alone DBZ.
