As seen in the new Rebels episode he actually made refinements to Ataru to make up for its lack of defense from blaster bolts and that suggests a level of technical mastery in his own form and lightsaber combat as a whole above what Savage has shown. In the novelizations he slides a downed ATST into a group of droids simply by focusing a bit and he shows excellent control when creating that sandstorm. Tbh canon Anakin is a far more refined Jedi then EU/Legends Anakin ever was.

Seven weeks after the Battle of Geonosis-not quite three weeks after Anakin farewelled without regret his Padawan braid-Dooku's Separatist forces launched a brutal multi-pronged attack on the Republic. He and Obi-Wan fought side by side, defending first Anoth and then Bakura. That was when they got their first sour taste of the monster Grievous.
And then had come Christophsis...and everything changed. Looking back now, he realized that Christophsis, and the subsequent missions to Teth, then Tatooine, with Ahsoka, had been the catalyst he'd needed to complete his transformation from Padawan to Jedi Knight.
So maybe not quite seven weeks, but close seeing as it was his third battle...
I would vouch for Savage. His immense strength, speed and telekinetic abilities should be enough to overcome Anakin's technical skill, which in his duel with Plo Koon, a more experienced and arguably more capable combatant, he's displayed the ability to handle.
