Superman was able to beat Dominus using T-vo, which simply puts one in a waking "theta state". More or less, he's in a hypnotic state between dreaming and waking.
In other words, Dominus relies to some degree on psychic powers over the waking mind to craft his realities, which was proven when he couldn't affect an unconscious Lois at one point..
Odin was capable of doing psychic combat with Galactus, so he should have the mental stuff to beat Dominus on the mental plane.

Never let anyone else define you. Don't be a jerk just to be a jerk, but if you are expressing your true inner feelings and beliefs, or at least trying to express that inner child, and everyone gets pissed off about it, never NEVER apologize for it. Let them think what they want, let them define you in their narrow little minds while they suppress every last piece of them just to keep a friend that never liked them for themselves in the first place.
Dominus kicked Superman's ass in that fight. The only way Superman won was because Dominus created a version of Krypton and was trapped in its version of phantom zone. Thus trapped within a dream within a dream.
Dominus can simply put the information about an entire multiverse in Odin's head and he will die of overload.
