Near/Indestructible metals..

Curious, but what metals in the SWU are either considered Indestructible or Near so?

I know there's Mandalorian Iron.

Cortosis is one I believe also.

Also if anyone can remember, I recall there being a story where the Death Star blew up Alderaan and a specific container was still intact after the planet exploded?

Anyone recall that? Was it made of Mandalorian Iron or was it something else?

I recall the story, but not what it was.

Found it! It was Bail Organa's Data Holocron, was encased in a Phrik container that survived Alderaan's explosion.

Hmm...but which is stronger? Phrik or Mandalorian Iron? Or about the same?

Beskaar can be destroyed... even without shatterpoint.

I know Exar Kun has done it, and shatterpoint users can just shatter it.

Phrik is usually used to reinforce/thread armor and weapons, Beskar is used in anything from armor plating to prisons or to lock away Ancient Sith. It also has a greater reputation than Phrik from what I can tell.

Not sure what's stronger out of Cortosis and the others though.

But both things made of Phrik and Mando Iron have survived extreme explosions. The former a container from the destruction of Alderaan, the latter, Vader's gauntlet which was a Mandalorian Crush from the 2nd Death Star.

Although...perhaps the latter might be a tad more impressive.

Phrik was used in the vambraces of Zayne Carrick and Sidious 's lightsaber.
I wondered the same thing which is stronger and what will happen if you combine Phrik and Manadalorian iron together.
