Here is a post to Stigma I made a few weeks ago regarding Hillary vs. Trump:
I was wrong about the general election. Hillary did NOT win.The pollsters were wrong.
Since he had the grace and decorum to be respectful and have an adult debate about it, I'll have the grace and decorum to simply return his respect:
I concede to Stigma, and people like Stigma, who called me out on my complacency and arrogance and properly called the election. He correctly pointed out the fallacies in the polls from the out-of-touch pollsters. He called exactly what was going on with the polling that was taking place and he politely and respectfully called me out on my blind faith in them, too.
We all know why I was wrong and I readily admit it. But why did you incorrectly call this election (for those that thought Hillary was very likely to win)? Please use this thread to respectfully discuss where you went wrong. And please don't be smug or disrespectful about your concessions...if you were wrong, you were wrong. Admit it and move on. I'm more interested in WHY so many of us were wrong.
Hey man it's okay, I was wrong too, I told people this corrupt manipulator was sure to win. Boy is my face red....from laughter.

And I'm sitting here thinking "FUUUCK! That damn expensive wall that I was butthurt about!"
I mean, come ON...a majority of people reluctantly voted for Trump, according to exit polling (but let's not trust those polls, dammit...they made me wrong and we all know how much I hate being wrong). So why are people acting like we have a hard-on for Trump? I didn't vote for him. I always said he was shit. I just didn't think he'd win.
A lot of ppl were commenting about the polling being biased in order to try a d swing the election towards Clinton (the way it secured her the DNC nom vs Sanders). Maybe there was some truth in all this? If so, it may have ended up working against the Clinton campaign as it gave them a false sense of security.
This is just a whack made up theory with little/no proof so pls don't take it seriously. Just spitballing here.
In all seriousness when I woke up and the first thing I saw on my phone was an article called "What Trump's victory says about women" I did an actual double take. I thought I was groggy and had just read it wrong.
That is why those who voted for Trump are acting this way. While I'm sure some will try to say they predicted he'd win all along, I think most people knew he really had no chance, so this is very strange and surreal.
But also really really funny. Every time a state went to Trump an SJW died of a brain aneurysm.

This is like the exact opposite of what Obi Wan felt when they destroyed Alderann.

"I felt a great disturbance from the Social Justice Warriors, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened."
I think when it comes to polls one key figure is the amount of people who are coming out to vote. That plays a key role, and it seems a lot more people came out than had been predicted.

Yeah, reading this, I have a different perspective then when I read it the first time. I was thinking, "Oh, yeah...that's actually right...and it seems very obvious, now."
I was wrong because my patriotism blinded me to the stupidity of the average American.

It's the tears that are blinding you, not patriotism.
It's pkay bro, just take a washcloth and wipe it away. Preferably a Trump Tower washcloth.
