Kun wins, Ulic being confirmed to be far less powerful than him in his prime leaves him quite clearly open in Force, Darth Revan isn't going to save him at the expense of himself so yeh Kun definitely takes this.

Yeah, it refers to just the Jedi:

Do I seriously need to guide people through the mental gymnastics to reach the conclusion that if Exar Kun is considered a Jedi by the quote, then so is Ulic?

Oh. Now, there's a good argument. Although, to be fair, Ulic had his Force-sensitivity severed at the time.
