Team two should take every time. There's absolutely no way that Peter or Miles can get past Static's flight and force fields. If this were taking place in an actual location, I could maybe see team one taking a couple of wins because of terrain, but in the default forum environment? Team 2 slaughters.
.......the shocker blasts shockwaves not electricity.......I'm surprised that you didn't know that. When was the last time that Max Dillion fought like he wasn't in special ed? What's to stop static from putting a forcefield around Spidey or shooting him while he's mid air?
Ok, Miles becomes invisible. Now what? He still has to get to the guy that is flying in an environment with nothing around for Miles to jump off of, swing from, hide behind, or crawl up. How's he getting past Virgil's force field?
The spiders have absolutely no options in this fight. Static and Black Lightning have superior mobility, power, versatility, and range.
Spiderman has beaten far better than this team by himself. You're arguing power set. Power set means Jack if those powers don't hit. One strong left to the jaw, and it's lights out.
1. How does he even catch Static? Peter can't fly, he has nothing to swing off of, jump off of, or crawl up. It's not exactly like Static is an easy target to hit either, his main villain is a ****ing speedster....
2. How does he get past static's force field? I'm still waiting for you to show me how he magically gets by it. I'm waiting for you to show me why Miles turning invisible is going to matter at all when he can't even touch his opponents.
3. You must have been hit with the amnesia stick. It's perfectly fine to argue powerset over showings. The Flash has a trillion losses to his name, but we're not going to say that Spider-Man beats him in a forum setting now are we?
4. Are we now going to pretend that Static hasn't beaten more versatile and powerful enemies than Spider-Man? How does it only work one way?
stop being foolish Abhi. The spider-men are easily going to avoid his omni-directional lightning blasts, close the distance, and then knock him out with only one punch. What sort of fool believes that a powerset like Black Lightnings will give him the win against Spider-Man in a forum setting?
I honestly don't know that much about Black Lightning. I do recall him taking shots from Holocaust though.......
As far as crazy feats go, Static has beaten Holocaust (who bodied several members of the Teen Titans (Superboy included)), beaten someone that had drained pretty much every Bang Baby of their powers (Wise Son included), and also beaten another character that drained the Blood Syndicate of their powers. Virgil's legitimately beaten some herald level characters.
Oh you're going with empty white room environment where the Spidermen have nothing to use as cover, instead of a cityscape that can be used to increase their speed, and attack performance. Well if that's the case I can agree with the cheap tactics that you're employing to show what a real battle would be like between these teams. Well done. I'm also pretty sure that you know how Peter and Miles powers work, so stop waiting on an answer in an attempt to deceitfully deny their speed, dodge potentials, extreme levels of strength. And look at Abhi talking about betas. Who the phuck was Morlun? Carnage? Sandman? Invisibility means that guys that don't have precognitive abilities can be snuck up on and hit with punches capable of flipping trucks with more than 4 wheels.
Is that how you really feel? It wouldn't surprise me.
If you're arguing only power set which is what you were doing to claim team 2 wins then you're going to get disagreements, but keep trying to twist things. Keep pretending that team two has fought against foes that fight exactly like team 1.

Another thing . If team two is generally too powerful for team 1 to win I have no problem with it, I'm just saying that the Spidermen have taken on and beaten bigger threats.
You mentioned Morlun, Carnage and Sandman. None of whom Spiderman beat with sheer power alone, but all with weakness exploitation. Morlun with radiation, Carnage with sound, Sandman via his master particle/water etc. He's never replied on his strength to beat them - in fact, when he tried to do so with Morlun, he got the tar beaten out of him.
In this thread, BL is the one with uncalculable power (not that it means much, but just pointing out that this phrase is often used by yourself with Hulk). BL is the one with flight, a body shield that's always on, senses that don't rely on sight, and the ability to destroy several city blocks at once in an AoE explosion.
