Yes. The thing is, Post Crisis Superman was split into 2 Supermen. When post crisis Superman showed back up, he was weakened due to the separation. They ended up merging back together again which created the Superman we see today (post crisis Superman). This is why I said they are the same people because they are. Split a person into 2 and putting them back together makes them whole again.
