They fought before way back when. It was made clear that Scorpion was in another league physically... then Falcon got pissed and looked at him with murderous intent and Scorpion totally bitched out and either tried to run away or actually went fetal(been a while, can't remember which), and I think it was before Falcon even gained true flight lol
