It's a buy for me, I've always liked Monolith Productions all the way from when they started out in 1996 with Blood on the PC. Hell they even made the best AVP game to date which is still better then Rebellion's 2010 game
"Productions"....Monolith Software is the Japanese developer.

James Gunn being given the keys to the castle is the only reason I haven't preached death to WB as a whole at this point. Too many things fans of the IP's have had taken off their bucket list; across all the entertainment mediums.
With the gaming division though, will be lucky if this title doesn't get cancelled outright, but otherwise it's back to Batman I guess for a tried and true experience because they shit the bed with Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, MultiVersus, and so on. Can only lean on Batman for the most part since other heroes remain untested on having a modern budget game of their own; nevermind that since said Suicide Squad did unprecedented damage to the DC gaming brand, it's doubtful we'll get something akin to a proper Justice League game someday, for instance.
Whether it's WB chasing the wrong trend at the wrong time, them giving a bad name to said trend with their execution of it, or whatever, the incompetence gets tiring to put it lightly. Shame they didn't chase the hero shooter trend based on the success of Marvel Rivals and will only be discouraged on experimenting again for awhile with their recent failures.
Kinda realized that with the presumed success of Superman and the other James Gunn stuff, David Zaslav will get to keep his job as CEO.
Obviously I'm not gonna root against the DC cape stuff people love and want to succeed, but if things continued as they still are at the moment, Zaslav would've soon been on the chopping block I'd like to imagine.
The recent cancellation of this game got me thinking on that more. Game wise, all they have now unquestionably is Batman, Mortal Kombat, and Harry Potter which is not a good look.
That all said, interesting that James Gunn apparently wants a Superman game to happen; part of his plan to include his version of Superman, Batman, etc in all DC media including future games.
