I know there's been some similar posts, but today I randomly remembered KMC Forums and miraculously had the right password stored in my brain somewhere. I hadn't logged in since 2010.
I joined this site around 2003 when I was 12/13 and probably too young to be here. I'm now 34 and it's hilarious reading some of my older posts.
I love how this site seems mostly the same as back then. A bit dated, yes, but with the modern internet, I prefer this. It's weird to think that social media as we know it didn't really exist back then.
I have some great memories talking (and probably trolling) strangers on these forums, discussing movies and pop culture fads of the era. It was nice to discover new movies here, or just recommendations of movies from others.
I found a thread I was in from 2005 about how awesome Netflix was. Well before the streaming era and DVDs mailed to you was brilliant.
Anyways, rant over. Good chance I won't be back again for a while, Reddit is my KMC of the modern era. Again, glad this still exists and thank you for all the memories - I really think this was one of the first online communities I interacted with growing up.
The power of compound interest is truly incredible.
Start investing early and consistently, even if it's just a small amount.
You'll be amazed at the growth over time.
