Ultimate Superman

I heard a rumour about this a while back and decided to check it out. I came across this link:

http://superman.ws/ultimate/

So, can we soon expect Ultimate Superman hitting the shelves? If so, what is next? Ultimate Batman? Ultimate JLA? If Ultimate Superman does arrives, what differences should they make? Villians? Characters? Situations? Let's have your ideas.

I think that was just a Wizard special. They were just looking at what DC licenses they could ultimize to make more hip and crap. To the best of my knowledge it isn't real.

The ultimate series is a marvel franchise, so I doubt that there would be an ultimate superman series. However, DC might make an equivilent series of comics to the ultimate series under a different name

It was a project that Wizard gave to some creative types to see what "Ultimate" versions of DC characters would look like. They did Wonder Woman and batman also...

I wish I could find the comic of Superman when he looked all jucied up on steroids. He had a hulk like body, he was massivly strong. He couldn't open his eyes because his heat vision was to powerful to control. I'm gonna keep searching for the comic, I'll probably won't find it. But I'm going to keep searching....

"Ultimate Superman" just looks like a younger version of the Kingdom Come Superman.

Yeah, without the fruit of the loom briefs. The Batman looks alright, but it seems a little too militaristic. Wayne wouldn't do that.

i have the issue where Wizard does this. DC would not do a Marvel thing. Wizard did it for fun. Although i like what they did with the costumes.

The supes look is based on they way they dressed on Krypton - and the Kingdom Come Black-backed "S" is in fact a throwback to how supes looked Waaaaaaay back in the day: He had a black and red S in his first outing.

Damn me for the nerd I am.
