John August writing Shazam
I just saw on superherohype that John August is writing it. He wrote Charlie and the Chocolate factore, Big Fish and Corpse Bride. The article also said that he's checking with Geoff Johns to make sure he gets the character right.

The great William Goldman was working on this. John August has also written Go, Titan A.E. and Charlie's Angels.
Still waiting for a better director than Peter Segel to be attached.

I just read the thing about Gyllenhaal. He'll definately have to beef up some but i also don't think Caps suit is as spandexy as someone like Superman's.
