No, lolol, it was after supermanīs dead, when they are looking for some new members for the justice league, his powers were cool but he had no experience at all.
i never knew much about him, but i was curious because i never heard about him anymore, i tough he is probably dead.
here in portugal some years ago now its diferent, when you bough a comic for example from batman , inside the book you have also another story say JLA, and thats how i discover this character.
Joe Quesada drew it, and The Ray must have been one of the most powerful heroes on the JLA. He had full control over light, and got his power from the sun. His story is cool, he was kept away from the sun, because his mother said it would kill him, but when he finally did get out into the sun, he discovered his powers.
Much like many other characters, his potential was never revealed.
Unfortunately, his series was only temporary, lasting 12 issues or so, and he had his own limited 6 issue series as well(I think).
Finnaly someone who knows ray, he was one of the coolest characters of the JLA, but i never knew what happened to him, i have some comics but then he simply disapear, never eard of him againd, thanks.
