Question Daycares an excuse or a good thing?

Do you think daycares are just an excuse so parents can relax or is a must have thing? I think that it is ok for single parents or people who have to work.
But it is not good that both parents are working just so they can buy stuff that they don't need!and put there kids in daycares when it is not needed! What do you guys think? JM mad smile Don't forget to vote!

what if both parents are working, but not getting very high wage, then they are affording their living, not necessarily buying possessions

sorry if this souds rude but im only curious...

are you a lil girl with rich parents who dumped you into daycare so they could buy "stuff" they dont need ?

im sorry but the cost of daycare is outragous and if you arent rich and dont care if you blow away your money...you dont do that .

parents put their children in daycares so they can work and feed their family....can 2 parents not have a job and provide for their family equally..well if they can , who's gonna watch Jr ? is it better for them to be latchkey kids and take care of themselves while mom and dad work ?

i think it is needed but i clicked on dont care to answer the question.

I think daycares are needed because like furryman says what if both parents need to work because they have poor wages and also they have to pay a lot of bills and they hardly get enough money.

I totatlly can't understand why parents would want to send as wonderful child as Jackie into day care [/Sarcasm]

Jackie, BTW - you aren't still in daycare are you? Just curious...

wow..I am just stunned.what kind of excuse would a parent have for dropping their kids off at day care for a exuberant amount money when they could use that money to buy stuff they don't need.especially junk like food, clothes,a home and many other unnecessary needs.

so I guess I'm undecided

Um, I rather think she's a 14 year old girl who has many questions and should be encouraged in her curiosity instead of trampled on because she comes across as young. Which she is, by the way miffed

Well, that is certainly true. But we are the older ones, the supposedly more mature ones, I still think we should be making the effort to educate her erm
