sifhds;';fsifh GRRRR!!!!!!
Underoath. Wow. What happened to this band... it's sad really. Their first two releases when they were a metalcore (yes, I said METALCORE!) band were awesome. If you can, download or listen to anything off of their cd "Cries of the Past". It's a great METALCORE (not EMO) album.
Here the chronology of degeneration:
"Act of Depression" - Hardcore (Pretty hardcore, not too much metal)
"Cries of the Past" - Metalcore (Much darker and heavier than the original - intergrates high-pitched screams and deep, low growls)
"The Changing of Times" - Times changed alright. This went a little more emo but still had it's hardcore roots. Listen
"They're Only Chasing Safety" - Wow. How sickening. This crap is terrible. Totally un-hardcore in every aspect of the word. Listen
Now, even those clips I showed you aren't really what they used to be like. Please don't let their shitfest sellout album taint your view. Listen to their first two albums. They are amazing.
Sellouts.

When trends attack.
To think people accuse Metallica of trend hopping. Underoath and about 80 other Emo bands are doing it for a living.
