The Punisher, Batman, and Green Arrow team up to bring down Carnage. How could these 3 heroes w/out mutant or supernatural powers take down the crazy villian that is Carnage? (Don't suggest an easy solution like one of them gets a sonic gun) Give any suggestions for other non-powered heroes that could help these 3 out.
How could Carnage take down three guys at once? You're putting too much pressure on Carnage. He already has problems with Punisher and Green Arrow alone. Wat makes you think Carnage can win?
Carnage could take Punisher cuz Punisher is all bullets and bullets can't hurt Carnage. Green Arrow could match up w/ Carnage if he had a lot of fire arrows or something. Batman can fight like crazy, but don't forget the versatility of the alien symbiote.
Batman could take out Carnage. Unless Carnage jumped on him while he slept, or unless Bats did not have his utility belt. In a fight against Superman he was whipping out sonic weapons to disorient Superman. Batman always has something nasty up his utility belt.
Having Bats, Ollie and Castle together would end up with Carnage flowing down some storm drain.
Seriously speaking, Carnage is a serious character. He is lethal and all that stuff. BUT he is flawed, seriously flawed. Cassidy's insanity gives him his edge, but at the same time it makes him vulnerable.
To quote Venom (he said these words as he whooped Carnage's behind):
" You may be stronger and faster, but I am smarter, craftier and a whole lot deadlier."
To be honest, Venom would be a much tougher opponent for the Bat, the Punisher and the Arrow, even though Brock's symbiote is not as strong as Cassidy's. At least Venom, although insane as well, keeps his gray matter together long enough to come up with some nifty plans. Carnage could be the end of Spiderman if he focused himself instead of trying to run amok like a headless chicken.
With that said, Batman COULD take down Carnage all by himself. Carnage would be nothing more than an IMMENSELY strong Alien, and Batman has faced Aliens twice ....and won. The Aliens here are the chest-bursters and all that. Bruce won against them, the first time without the use of his belt, because all the Aliens could do is use their strength and speed and cunning. Bruce's smarts was more than enough to counter them, and defeat them. In the second encounter the Aliens were hybrids -smarter and deadlier - and Bats took them down even faster.
Carnage, though not of the same species as the Aliens (ofcourse), is similar in tactics. He uses his physical abilities to overwhelm his enemies. The problem is that using physical abilities only against Batman is never a good idea, especially when you have weaknesses like sonics and such.
Venom, though weaker than Carnage (not weak since he is stronger than Spiderman, just weaker than Carnage) would be a far better opponent since he does not act like a rabid dog. He may be insane, but he does not think the solution to every problem is 'slash.'
Anyways, Batman, the Punisher, and Ollie would destroy Carnage, and then the Punisher would try to shoot Cassidy before Ollie's broadhead arrow could reach Cass!
