I'm so pissed right now

I rented two movies at Blockbuster today. I just now at 1:21 opened one of them and it HAD NO DVD IN IT. They're supposed to check to see if they're empty when you rent them, and he didn't check, and now I have an empty movie. They won't believe me when I tell them tomorrow that it was this way, because they always check to see if it's empty, but they didn't this time. WTF am I supposed to do?

if you know they are supposed to check the cases before they let you rent them and they didnt do so, obviously you would have noticed this...at any movie rental establishment i have ever been to they open the case at the counter before giving it to you to rent.

if you didnt see them do or not do in this case then you should have asked them to or done so yourself.

you should go back tomorrow and tell them there was no DVD otherwise when you take back the movie - they might check the case you returned and think you stole the movie erm

Definitely go in and talk to a manager...if you have been renting there for a while, and never had a problem it will not be a big deal...they have a degree of acceptable loss.

its just a movie, at most you'll end up owing about $20 for it. its not like you'll pull time in the slammer or anything.
