Justice League was better than Justice League Unlimited
because unlimited has way too many characters
this ends up with most of the characters seeming frivolous and underdeveloped...i moan everytime i see that cowboy dude with his pistols...jeez give those precious minutes to bats or flash
its only a 30 minute ...well 20 minute minus commercials...show so every minute for character and plot development is crucial
that's why batman worked, the villains were always solitary and didn't hog screen time and their personalities were fully developed
when i watch JLU, i feel like they're trying to squeeze in way more than they can chew and results in an unsatisfactory viewing experience
if they had less characters, they could develope deeper plots and make the cartoon much better, this is actually why i like teen titans much more..plus its humorous
thanks for reading my rant.. i decided to post this after reading that people wanted an avengers unlimited cartoon with every avenger

i dont know about all that....i think that they show a lot of different people in the cartoon to give you knowledge about them but they still keep developing characters who are truly important ( the seven)....i mean they show the Question and while he might not be that important, in the show hes the trigger for a lot of things...then theres Dove and Hawk who I had never even heard of before that show, and while there seems to be a lot of people it is true to the comic that they have reserves and other people to get the job done when the full status members cant....I dont know thats my own anti rant, i like the series and I dont miss it ever....i record it every sat. night to be able to see it the next day

at least you'll agree that the cowboy dude is a complete waste of screen time right? Jeebus how is he a member of JL, they sure lowered their standards.
anyways, my major gripe is that the show is too short which is why I dislike having so many characters make brief inconsequential cameos, should be one hour long, then it would be perfect

justice league was crap , they drew each episode out too long with bad story-lines. jlu is short and sweet with each episode bringing a new decent character while the story-lines are above what they were.

i guess somebody hasnt told that guy that JLU is Justice league, just with a different name. in fact JLU is just season 3 and beyond. anyhoo, i think it is way better becuase the previous would focus on all seven all the time, and when they did an episode featureing only one it comes off kinda stupid(episode where superman was sent 30000 years into future by toyman) or how they would have to introduce a new villain every week, and of course changing the chacters secret origins while they're at it. the stupidest one being thier version of eclipso. and thier lame ass homage to the JSA(fictional beings from another dimension c'mon!)
JLU on the other hand is really in depth, it gives you the impression that there are lots of things going on behind the scenes, and it all will be brought out in due time, in fact after the episode where question and Tea made thier first appearance, every episode after that was somehow interconected, well except for that grundy one. you could almost feel that something was brewing. where as the previous would have a brand new unrelated adventure every single week , only boiling over when they do a part 2 of the same story. Also, a lot of the JLU episodes pay homage to classic comic stories
kid stuff
for the man who has everything
and panic in the sky just to name a few
oh and task force X aka suicide squad(c'mon thats awesome)
my only gripe with JLU is that wont do like Justice League and end the seaon with a feature length movie season 1 was ended with that darksied teaming up with brainiac movie, season 2 starcrossed

I like both shows. JL had a few bad shows, but over all it turn out pretty good, with " A perfect World" "Injustice for all" "Wild Cards" (The orgin of how they team up(Forgot the title of that one)
And of couse other great showings. Of couse there were real sinkers like War world. But over all, JL was a cool show, the main problem though, was that Cartoon network AIRED the same 3 JL shows OVER AND OVER again. And when JL makde a new one, They aired that, than go back to the SAME 3 shows.
Wild Cards was aired ONCE(Well 2 times, on the repeat.) It was aired for ONE day. ANd I thought that was one of the best of the show. But Repeat of the same few shows, hurt the rateings badly.
With JLU, they are airing new shows, But if they get a weekly showing, they better air more than 3 or 4 shows, Or they suffer in the ratings. Just like JL.

I agree that they have trouble squeezing everything into the half hour time frame. But don't ever badmouth Vigilante!

Wow, you think Batman needs more airtime after Batman TAS, Batman & Robin, Batman Gotham Nights, Batman Beyond, and Justice League?
And you are complaining about Vigilante who gets less airtime than a fish at the bottom of the ocean?
But I do agree with you that the shows need to be an hour instead of a half an hour.
That is why I love watching:
Double Date
The Clash
Question Authority
Flashpoint
Panic In The Sky
Divided We Fall
in that order. It is like watching a 6-part miniseries.
